Compliance
Our compliance service helps our clients fully comply with their energy obligations.
We’ll study your current energy suppliers, usage, and operational practices and assess these against your environmental obligations, including:
- Mandatory Carbon Reporting (MCR) or Streamlined Energy and Carbon Reporting (SECR): Streamlined Energy and Carbon Reporting is submitted alongside financial reporting. Planet First Energy can help your business comply with SECR.
- Energy Saving Opportunities Scheme (ESOS): Our qualified lead assessors are on hand to ensure you are compliant and help you identify long term energy, cost and carbon savings.
- The deadline for ESOS phase 3 has now passed. The Environment Agency will notify eligible organisations that have not yet complied. We urge any organisation that has not yet completed its ESOS phase 3 compliance to contact us as soon as possible to avoid penalties.
- ESOS Phase 4 is now underway, with the first reporting date set for 5th December 2024. Unlike previous phases, organisations will now be required to make annual submissions to the Environment Agency (EA) via the new portal. Find out what your organisation needs to do to comply with ESOS phase 4. Alternatively, you can download our ESOS Phase 4 briefing paper here »
- Display Energy Certificates (DECs) & Energy Performance Certificates (EPCs): Our energy experts can help you with Display Energy Certificates (DECs), and Non-domestic Energy Performance Certificates (EPCs).
- Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Systems (TM44): Planet First Energy can help you with Air Conditioning Inspections (TM44s). As energy specialists, our team can help you achieve compliance.
- ISO50001: Designed to support organisations in all sectors, this ISO standard provides a practical way to improve energy use, through the development of an energy management system (EnMS).
- Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD): From 6th April 2022, over 1,300 of the largest UK-registered companies and financial institutions will have to disclose climate-related financial information in line with recommendations from the Task Force on Climate-Related Financial Disclosures (TCFD).
We also help you achieve compliance in line with the Climate Change Agreement (CCA) for your application to the scheme.
